It is with pleasure that we write to Guild & Spence on the professionalism and technical expertise demonstrated by your Team at Project Waka, managed and lead by your Foreman Aubrey Wawatai in a black building demonstration.Aubrey must be commended for orchestrating a very well-coordinated and confident presentation and managing and supporting our future Electricians / Technicians and Engineers.

The main distribution panel and its interfaces with the HV and Woodward controller was explained and demonstrated in operation by Aaron Spiers followed by a very clear understanding and functional demonstration of the UPS systems, its ‘H’ switch arrangements and alarm status from Terry Williamson culminating in a very confident understanding from Tyrone of the Generator system and that of the operational interfaces of our 800Kva Generator.

The above individual systems were then demonstrated from the team of three in a black build scenario, simulating a High Voltage power outage from the Grid.  The automation systems worked to perfection with confidence from the team in their understanding of all interfaces.

It is no easy task to stand and explain to a team of Electrical Engineers from the BOPDHB, Pacific Consultants, BECA Electrical Designer and myself the most critical systems and technical aspects of an Electrical installation and to answer questions on functionality and operational modes.
