Competence Training Program

Natalie Munn - Monday, January 18, 2016

All registered electrical workers must hold a practising licence to carry out prescribed electrical work, this is a requirement of section 95 of the Electricity Act 1992.  To achieve this you are required bi-annually to carry out an approved competency training programme including First Aid and CPR.

Guild and Spence Electrical are approved training providers for the EWRB Competency Programme (course) which includes Electrical Safety and Instruction in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Basic First Aid.

We run these courses periodically during the year with the feedback from attendees being that they came away informed and confident in the skills required to maintain a safe working environment while also being up-to-date with current regulations and standards.

We believe the course we run is far superior in content and presentation than others run locally while still being at a competitive rate.

If you require any further information please email: service@guildspence.co.nz or checkout our website www.guildspence.co.nz

If you are looking for more information in to the requirements for the competency training the EWRB website is www.ewrb.got.nz or have a look at https://gazette.govt.nz/notice/id/2015-go2035
